2024 Student Guide

Your handy guide to get started smoothly at Swinburne as a new student.

Note: The 2025 Student Guide will be available to download in early 2025.

Hawthorn campus Atrium closure
7am, 28 January 2025 – 12pm, 5 February 2025

As part of our commitment to improving campus facilities, the Atrium (including John Street stairs) will be closed for cleaning and painting works.

During this time:
  • Library access: Use McLeod Lane or Late Lab.
  • Atrium Café access: Enter via the counter inside the library.
  • BA Building access: Use the John Street entrance for lift and stair access.
  • Access through the Atrium will be blocked entirely.
