All exchange students are classified as undergraduate students at SF State regardless of their status at their home universities. Therefore, exchange students may not enrol in graduate courses (level 700 and above).
Students can study courses from most study areas, except Accounting Concentration, Business, American Language Institute, College of Extended Learning, Design (Fashion Design and Merchandising, Interior Design, Industrial/Product Design, Visual Communication Design), Kinesiology, Exercise and Movement Sciences, Music and Dance, Nursing, Psychology, School of Education, Social Work.
