International students: interview insights and practice with recruiters
International students: interview insights and practise with recruiters
Learn what it takes to make every job interview a success with insights from local recruiters.
Make the right impression
Whether you’re looking for your first part-time job in Australia, an internship or graduate employment, interviews are always involved. And at a time when more and more employers are hiring for ‘fit’ and training for 'skill', the interview is more important than ever.
Australian interviewers want to know you can do the work, but they’re also looking to see how you communicate, explain your experience, tell your story, if you’ll work well with their team, if your values match the company, and more.
This workshop will provide you with useful interview tips including:
- important interview preparation
- typical questions and response strategies
- body language and dress codes
- showcasing what you can bring to the organisation.
You will then have an opportunity to practise your interview skills in small groups with professional recruiters.
