His passion has evolved towards identifying and extracting wisdom from both the world and research and turning that wisdom into practical tools to improve performance, strategy and importantly, lives; striving to help make the world a healthier and more richly fulfilling place.

Anthony Ferrier

Director Innovation and Commercialisation

Anthony is a globally recognised executive, entrepreneur, advisor and thought leader on enterprise innovation and commercialisation, with a focus on successfully navigating disrupted environments. He has guided sustained change at some of the world's most complex organisations in the US, Europe and Australia, also having built several successful consulting businesses. Anthony is a widely-read author, speaker and advisor to organisations across a range of private, public and not-for-profit sectors. He has a Master of Commerce (University of Sydney) and Bachelor of Economics (University of Newcastle).

Fiona Knowles

Director of Learning Design and Innovation

Fiona is a technical, vocational education and training specialist with over 25 years’ experience in the Australian education and training sector. Fiona manages a multi-functional team of instructional designers and digital learning specialists, project managers and support staff. The projects undertaken by the LDI team include the design and development of customised workforce training and education solutions, as well as collaborative industry projects. In recognition of her experience in working with industry partners in Australia and internationally, Fiona was awarded the International Partnership Award from the International Partnership Network. Fiona holds multiple vocational and postgraduate qualifications.

Kerrie Allen

Senior Manager, Portfolio Sales

Kerrie has over 20 years of experience leading senior account management teams across a range of industries including banking and insurance, logistics, advertising and telecommunications. Kerrie enjoys finding new ways of adding value to clients whether they are blue-chip organisations, not for profits or government. Kerrie believes success is based on a strong foundation of strategy and execution.

Director of Continuing Professional Education and Operations

Jemma and her team create fast and flexible professional learning programs at Swinburne Edge. Her remit focusses on creating future ready professionals who can embrace the challenges that come with the future world of work and unlock the potential of Australian organisations.

Suj Pillai

Manager, Continuing Professional Education

Suj is a seasoned professional in the education space with numerous years of experience in leadership roles. His team's focus is providing expert advice for Swinburne Edge development options and overseeing prospective student enquiries. They collaborate with stakeholders to achieve exceptional student experiences. Suj is also passionate about outcome-focused training so organisations can evolve in a dynamic environment.

Charlotte Pettiprez

Manager, Operations (Continuing and Professional Education)

Charlotte is an educator at heart and strives to deliver an exceptional student experience. Charlotte is in charge of the day-to-day operations of Continuing Professional Education and her teaching experience coupled with her operational skills is a perfect combination to ensure students receive outstanding service. Charlotte believes in people and the potential they develop through education. Charlotte is also a yoga teacher and TESOL instructor.

Ralph El Helou

Manager, Consulting Projects

Ralph is a qualified project professional with over 15 years’ experience in project, account and client relationship management, including 10 years in education, training and professional development. He adopts a client-centric approach to plan, manage and improve capability initiatives, and specialises in large scale and complex projects. He ensures the project management team delivers all initiatives to scope, on time and on budget, whilst focusing on fostering long-term relationships with our clients.

Dr Justin Shimeld

Manager, Learning Engagement

Justin manages the processes, quality, and integration of university systems for Swinburne Edge to enable and streamline program operations for students, staff, and facilitators. Justin has worked in the education sector for 12 years, spanning projects in research, secondary and tertiary education.

Gurchet Singh

Manager, Compliance

Gurchet has worked as a facilitator, coach, lead assessor, and learning and compliance manager. He is an expert trainer and mentor with excellent organisational and project management skills. In his current role, he provides professional support and guidance across both consulting and public programs for Swinburne Edge.

Anoush Hovivyan

Manager, Operations (Shared Services)

Anoush is a highly dedicated professional with over 15 years’ experience in corporate education, working for both private RTOs and higher education. Her expertise lies in learning administration, RTO administration, account management, consultant management, client experience, and facilitator management. 

Narelle Caulfield

Manager Projects and Proposals

Narelle is a tender, grants and projects specialist with more than 15 years’ experience in leading multi-faceted teams across both education and employment sectors. She leads a project management team to achieve strategic objectives and deliver a diverse project portfolio on scope and budget. Narelle has worked collaboratively with stakeholders to successfully lead multi-million dollar tenders and grants, including joint initiatives with our many industry partners.

Amanda Megarrell

Manager Learning Design

Amanda is an education technology and vocational education specialist with over 25 years in the education sector. Her diverse career has seen her manage the development of a variety of learning and workforce skilling projects within the corporate and government sectors. She has an eye for detail and is heavily focused on quality outputs. Amanda is responsible for managing a multi-functional team of instructional designers and digital designers across a diverse project portfolio.
