Swinburne University of Technology welcomes the appointment of Jason Clare as Federal Minister for Education in the newly sworn-in Albanese Ministry.
“On behalf of Swinburne University of Technology, I am pleased to congratulate Jason Clare on his appointment,” Swinburne’s Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Pascale Quester said today.
“At Swinburne, we are building ourselves to be the prototype of a new and different university - one that is truly of technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. We look forward to working with Minister Clare, as well as the ministers in portfolios related to these nation-building areas,” Professor Quester said.
Professor Quester also welcomed Minister Clare’s earlier statement that education is the most powerful cause for good in this country.
We share the Minister’s sentiment around the extraordinary power of education for good, and we look forward to working with him and the rest of the Albanese Government in the months and years ahead as our university continues to build a better world through people and technology,” Professor Quester said.
