Overview
The focus of the Berlin Study Tour is attending the Berlinalé, one of the largest and most prestigious film festivals in the world. As an Accreditee, you will have access to all screenings (over 200 films), the European Film Market and the Berlinale Talents, the creative hub of the festival.
The study tour will commence in Prague where you will visit the CILECT partner Film School FAMU as well as cultural sites of interest, before travelling by train to Berlin where you will spend two weeks visiting film schools, film studios and attending the 75th Berlinalé (13 – 23 February 2025).
The Berlin Study Tour is a highly immersive experience that ignites passion, creativity and offers new insights into the world of international film and screen production. As accredited guests of the Berlinalé, you and your study tour group will be part of an international film festival audience with the opportunity to network and extend your career and study horizons. You will also participate in workshops and tours of CILECT partner international film schools, and visit film studios and industry facilities in Prague, Berlin and Potsdam.

Eligibility
Students will be required to submit an application for the Berlin Study Tour. The selection criteria will include - their enrolled course, year level, GPA’s, motivation and ambassadorship statements.

OS-HELP Loans
Eligible Australian students can apply for an Australian Government OS-HELP Loan of up to A$7,921 (for study outside of Asia) to help cover costs associated with your overseas program.
