Our focus is on you

We work with anyone in the community who would like to talk to a careers professional about the next step in their career journey.  We provide pathways, options, and information to help you determine your next career move.

And the community

We work with local businesses and industry to keep informed of employment opportunities and to link in job seekers, including apprentices, with employers.  We connect individuals into local community learning and referral services.

Workshops

We run tailored workshops on campus and in the community on career planning, job searching, job readiness and interview skills, resume writing and updating, first resume and interview tips for young people.

"The Skills and Jobs Centre's career advisor provided me with excellent guidance in terms of my career goals and pathways available to me. I received amazing advice and support around how to best structure my resume, which resulted in me getting my first job in the healthcare field and on my way to becoming a paramedic. I am very grateful to the Skills and Jobs Centre as they are a wealth of knowledge in this area."
