Gender neutral bathrooms

Swinburne was the first university in Victoria to install gender neutral bathrooms. These are now available across our campuses.

Hawthorn campus

  • AD (Old Administration building) – Located outside, across from Haddons Cafe and before the lifts and AD102 access.

There are many outside organisations dedicated to supporting members of the LGBTIQ+ community. 

Minus18 are champions for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ+) youth Australia wide. They regularly run events, provide peer support and have heaps of relevant resources.
