Upgrade your ability to innovate across procurement, logistics and supply chain management roles with the Graduate Certificate of Supply Chain Innovation. This globally-recognised course combines traditional units in Logistics and Project Management with innovation. Learn about design thinking and lean management along with the issues facing today’s supply chain professionals and how to solve them.

Study structure

Successful completion of the Graduate Certificate of Supply Chain Innovation requires students to complete units of study to the value of 50 credit points. All units of study are valued at 12.5 credit points unless otherwise stated.

  • Full-time study: 100 credit points/eight standard units of study per year

  • Part-time study: 50 credit points/four standard units of study per year

  • One credit point is equivalent to one hour of study per week per semester (including contact hours and private study)

Learning outcomes

At completion of the Graduate Certificate of Supply Chain Innovation, graduates will be able to:

  • apply problem-solving, design and decision making methodologies to identify and provide innovative solutions to complex problems with intellectual independence

  • apply supply chain fundamentals to the analysis, design and operation of a model using appropriate business methods and tools.

Career opportunities

Graduates will be able to work in supply chain management, procurement and logistics management. They will be Six Sigma Green Belt certified.

Course Rules

To qualify for the award of Graduate Certificate of Supply Chain Innovation students must complete 50 credit points comprising:

  • Four (4) Core units of study

Maximum Academic Credit

The maximum level of credit that can be granted for the Graduate Certificate of Supply Chain Innovation is 25 credit points (normally two units).
