Bronte Neyland
Bronte is an experienced higher education executive with a strong strategic and goal-oriented approach.
Prior to her role as Deputy Vice-Chancellor, External Engagement, Bronte was Swinburne's inaugural Pro Vice-Chancellor Future Students, which saw her establish a new division, bringing together the university’s domestic and international student recruitment teams, as well as having responsibility for admissions.
Bronte was previously Vice-President, Future Students and Marketing at Victoria University in Melbourne where she led the University’s brand and marketing, communications, web services, and student recruitment (domestic and international) functions. Prior to working in the tertiary education sector in Australia, Bronte worked for local government in Japan.
With more than twenty years in the Australian education sector, predominantly in the international student sector, Bronte’s expertise is regularly sought for industry workshops and seminars. Bronte is a member of several advisory boards and has held a number of non-executive director positions across the education sector, including Chair of the Australian Universities International Directors’ Forum (AUIDF).
